Fishing with the BABY BASS LURE
These are a few catches, click on the red text below:
2012
- A 25 inch Walleye caught by TJ on April 14, 2012 using a 3/8 oz. jig head and a 3 inch Charturse with metal flake Baby Bass lure. The fish weighed 5.5 pounds.
- A rare two species double caught by Charlie Perdue. The top fish (a Blue Gill) hit a 2 inch Chartruse Baby Bass lure with metal flake and the bottom fish (a large mouth bass) hit a 1 inch Chartruse Baby Bass lure with metal flake.
2011
- Three nice Crappies caught by Austin Hill from a farm pond. They were caught on the 2 inch natural BABY BASS LURE. These are the biggest ones that he caught. It is easy to understand why he is smiling.
- A very nice Walleye caught by Quint Conlin using a 3 inch natural colored BABY BASS LURE.
- Several nice crappies caught by Ken Wymore and Ike Groves. They were caught in a local farm pond with the 2 inch BABY BASS LURES in the natural color. The largest crappie weighed two pounds.
- The Crappie were caught on the 1" chartreuse/pearl and Chartreuse with gold metal flake "Baby Bass" lure. The rigging was on 1/16 oz sickle hook lead head beetle spin, using Lake Fork Power Silk 5 lb test, a Berkley Tactix 6'6" ml/xtra fast rod and a Okuma Trio 20 series ultra-lite reel. The first Crappie shown went 18 1/2" the second was 18 1/4" there were numerous others taken in the 14" to 18" range and several more that were released in the smaller sizes. The water temp was 61.3 deg water clarity was fair and the fish were in 2' to 3' ft of water in the grass and at the outside edge of the grass. The retrieve was a slow lift and drop with a hard hit on the lift generally. The day consisted of a 2-man limit and the catch/release of many other Crappie. Good fishing to all Quint.
- Ike Groves with 24 nice Crappie caught with the 2-inch baby Bass Lures in the Natural color and Chartruse with the gold metal flake.
- These are 20 of 28 nice Blue Gills caught by TJ and Ike Groves using the 1-inch and 2-inch Baby Bass lures in Natural color and Chartruse with the gold metal flake. All were caught in a local farm pond and measured between 8 and 10 inches in length.
- While fishing below the dam at Lake Red Rock Langley Jensen caught a very nice Crappie using a 2-inch Pearl Baby Bass Lure on a cold wet May 14, 2011.
- This is 11-year-old Austin Hill with a very nice large mouth bass caught on TJ's Baby Bass Lure. It is easy to understand why youngsters really love the lures when they can catch fish like the adults.
- Here is 9-year-old Abby Hill with a nice large mouth bass caught on TJ's baby Bass Lures.
- This is Abby Hill with just some of the really nice crappie that she caught using TJ's Baby Bass Lures. It is easy to understand why the youngsters love the lures almost as much as the fish. She used a 1-inch Chartruse lure with the gold metal flake rigged with a 1/8 oz. jig head and a gold Beetle spin type rig.

- Seven-year-old Jack Zula with a 16-inch bass caught on the 1-inch Chartruse Baby Bass Lure rigged with a Beetle Spin type harness.
- Jack Zula is all smiles with this 17-inch Large Mouth bass caught on a 2 inch Chartruse Baby Bass Lure with the gold metal flake using a 1/8 oz. jig head rigged with a Beetle spin type harness.
2010
- A White Bass caught with the BABY BASS LURE.
- Another White Bass caught with the BABY BASS LURE.
- An 11 pound 8 ounce Hybrid Striper caught below the dam at Lake Red Rock in Iowa. It was not caught on the BABY BASS LURE.
- A three pound Large Mouth Bass caught by Jack Zula on a BABY BASS LURE in a farm pond.
- A 16.5 pound Hybrid Striper caught below the dam at Lake Red Rock. It was caught on a jig head with homemade white buck tail lure.
- These bass were caught in farm ponds with the BABY BASS LURE that you see pictured with the fish.
- Two Large Mouth Bass caught on a 3 inch Pearl colored BABY BASS LURE rigged with a 1/4 oz. jig head and a silver spinner blade.
- Two Large Mouth Bass caught on a 3 inch Purple and Pearl colored BABY BASS LURE rigged with a 1/4 oz. yellow jig head and a silver spinner blade.
- Four Large Mouth Bass caught on a 2 inch Yellow and Pearl colored BABY BASS LURE rigged with a 1/4 oz. yellow jig head and a gold spinner blade.
- Four Large Mouth Bass caught on a 2 inch Yellow and Pearl colored BABY BASS LURE rigged with a 1/4 oz. yellow jig head and a gold spinner blade.
- Jadon Boender caught this largemouth bass on a 3 inch Natural BABY BASS LURE rigged with a 1/4 oz. yellow jig head and a gold beetle spin type harness.
